Sound proofing your space could include the following steps:

Demo and remove existing ceiling and insulation
Install new soundproofing insulation, as many layers as necessary, into every bay
Install new soundproofing rubber tightly over entire ceiling
Install metal channel layout over entire ceiling, apply greenglue at all joints and connections
Install new ½” sheetrock over grid, seal all edges at wall, apply greenglue on all seams
Apply greenglue onto sheetrock, evenly spread, install second layer of ½” sheetrock
Tape, sand smooth, ready for paint
